Whisker Watch Important Paws & Policies

​User Agreement for Frabjous Whisker Watch Pet Sitting ("Frabjous," "we," "our," or "us").

 

By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Some of these will be additionally covered in our Service Agreement within PetPocketbook when an account has been established for scheduling.

​Reservations

Being that we are taking reservations on a first come, first serve basis, and visits expect to fill quickly, we ask that you schedule as far in advance as possible. New clients please complete our booking form here to setup a initial call.

Meet & Greet

For new clients, during our initial call we’ll schedule a 30-minute in-home Meet & Greet. During this visit, a pet sitter will meet you and your pets, go over their care routines, collect two tested keys if available, and discuss any special instructions or concerns. The Meet & Greet is complimentary with a pet sitting reservation. If no reservation is made, a $20 fee applies—but that fee will be credited toward future services if you choose to book with us later.

Keys & Access

Clients are responsible for providing secure, working access to their home. We recommend the use of lockboxes or digital entry systems when possible. Whisker Watch kindly requests two tested keys at the Meet & Greet if a lockbox will be used. If you're unable to provide them at that time, we are happy to arrange key pickup or drop-off for a $15 fee per trip.​​ Frabjous is not liable for delays or missed visits due to access issues.

Scheduling & User Account

Once you become a client, you'll receive login details for our secure online system. This convenient platform allows you to schedule services, manage your account, update pet and household instructions, review or modify upcoming visits, securely store your payment information, and access your invoices and balances—all in one place. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and are liable for all activities conducted under your account.​

Cancellations ​

We understand that life happens! To provide the best care and manage our schedule fairly, we ask that all cancellations follow the policy below.

 

If necessary, please cancel within 48 hours of appointment time using our online system or by calling 919-263-8311 as we book services on a first come, first serve basis.

• If within 24 hours of the appointment, a $25 fee will be charged. for pet sitting.

• If within 8 hours of a dog walking appointment, a $10 fee will be charged.  

 

Payment ​​

Invoices are automatically sent following the completion of services. A credit card is required to remain on file and will be charged at the end of each weekly billing cycle. An itemized receipt will be provided with each payment.

Business Office Hours

Emails are monitored from 9am - 5pm Monday - Friday and our business manager responds to all routine inquiries within one business day for scheduling.

Terms of Service 

To provide the best possible care, we kindly ask that the following conditions are met prior to the start of our service:

• Kitchen sinks must be clean and free of dirty or soaking dishes.

• Main trash cans should be emptied and fitted with a new liner.

• Bathrooms should be maintained in a clean condition.

• The home should be free from mold, pests, and generally well-kept.

• If litter boxes are present, they should be scooped within a few days prior to the start of service.

We ask this to avoid any possible issues that may arise with your pets due to the above. Please be aware that we reserve the right to decline service after the meet-and-greet if any of our team members feel uncomfortable with the environment.

 

​Limitations of Liability

While we take every reasonable precaution in caring for your pet and home, Frabjous Whisker Watch is not liable for:

• The safety of any pet instructed to be let outside unsupervised (including indoor/outdoor cats or dogs with invisible fences), nor can we be held responsible for any harm they may cause to others. For safety, we strongly recommend all pets remain supervised and leashed while outdoors.

• Pets that escape due to faulty latches, open windows/doors, or other structural vulnerabilities

• Illnesses that develop during or after our care, unless directly caused by negligence.

• Loss or damage to personal property unless due to gross misconduct by our staff.

Emergency Care & Veterinary Release

In the event of a pet medical emergency, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you before seeking veterinary attention. You authorize us to act on your behalf and agree to reimburse any associated veterinary costs.

Confidentiality

Use of the Site and any services is subject to our Privacy Policy, which outlines how we collect and handle user data.​Frabjous Whisker Watch is honored to care for your pets in the comfort of your home. We deeply respect your privacy and are committed to maintaining complete confidentiality regarding you, your pets, and your household.

Incidental services: $30 per day
There may be times when circumstances beyond our control (related to your animals or home) present themselves during the course of a pet sitting reservation and in the event that such circumstances require additional services and/or time, a fee for incidental services may apply.

Electronic Communications

 

By visiting the Site or communicating with us electronically, you consent to receive communications from us electronically and agree that such communications satisfy any legal requirement for written notice.​

 

Inclement Weather/Emergencies

In severe weather or emergency situations (e.g., hurricanes, ice storms, or natural disasters), our ability to provide service may be impacted. We will communicate promptly regarding any changes or cancellations.

Tipping

Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated! If you'd like to leave a tip, you're welcome to leave cash for your sitter, or let us know the amount you'd like to include with your card or check payment—we’ll make sure it goes directly to your sitter.
